BTB School

This design is inspired by the long black hats of the Tang Dynasty, reflecting the educational and cultural values of that era. This concept is clearly evidential in the symbolic façade of the building, which integrates harmoniously with the surrounding environment. The façade features a hollow lattice that is not only enhances aesthetics but also creates a sense of security for the students. This structure functions as cross ventilation, ensuring good airflow and comfort within the spaces. The skylight in the staircase void reduces reliance on artificial lighting and thus creating a fresher and a more inspiring atmosphere. The color palette of blue and yellow contribute to an environment that fosters productive learning and student creativity, creating a stimulating and enjoyable space. The staircase is designed to be interactive, incorporating wider steps that allow children to sit, gather, or rest comfortably. This feature creates a versatile space within the school, encouraging social interaction and providing areas for relaxation beyond its function as a stairway.
