A private lavish gateway located in H Island, an hour boat-ride from Pantai Mutiara Coi, Northern part of Jakarta. It is standing in the middle of the island with its curvy vertical and horizontal timber framework stretching from one point to another above the building. It acts as the roof and outer skin of the building, making a bold statement to the surroundings. It also functions as a private bar and club to serve guests of the owner. Each beam is meticulously crafted with smooth curves, supported by angled metal brackets that anchor them firmly to the concrete bases below. The wood’s warm tones contrast against the cool gray of the concrete and black steel, creating a balance in textures. The structure appears to serve both an aesthetic and functional purpose, likely adding visual interest while providing structural or shade elements in the space.
