Vince Restaurant

Located in Sunter, North Jakarta, Vince restaurant with its "East meets West" concept combines contrasting cultural and aesthetic influences to create a distinctive dining experience. The interior is inspired by a "dungeon" concept, traditionally associated with wine cellars, storage, and even prisons. However, this dungeon is reimagined as a vibrant and welcoming space with ambient lighting and rich textures to create a cozy yet dramatic atmosphere. A standout feature is a column crafted from teak wood, representing Eastern heritage, but sculpted in a Corinthian style to incorporate Western classical design.

The entrance is adorned with intricate woodwork, thoughtfully designed to catch the attention of passersby and make a lasting impression. From the entrance, it leads to a grand stairway with a high ceiling, where membrane lights are strategically placed to mimic the effect of skylight. These lights are diffused across the ceiling, creating a soft, even glow that resembles sunlight streaming through an open roof, creating a dramatic transition as guests move toward the dining area. In a twist on the traditional "dungeon" concept, typically situated on lower floors, this "dungeon" is uniquely located on the upper floor. This creative reimagining is symbolized by a hanging bonsai plant at the entrance: its roots are visible from below, while the foliage thrives above. This inverted bonsai signifies "life" flourishing on the upper level, capturing the essence of a lively and vibrant dining experience within the dungeon-themed restaurant.
