MSJ Office

A mid-rise commercial office, located in Slipi, West Jakarta. Deriving from rectangular mass then stacked regularly. An example of bold yet contemporary design. These boxy, blocky design of this building looks appealing along the streetscape in West Jakarta. The intention of the building is to define and blur the visual threshold between the public and private areas of the office. The transparency of the building stays consistent throughout each floors to keep their functional requirements. Their surfaces clearly express their openness, and the configuration of the spaces are clear and direct. What surprises the most is the use of space on the very top floor of the building. There is an alfresco dining style where people can dine-in and enjoy the magnificent Jakarta’s skyline.
